Hooded Black Samurai HMPK Male Betta
A striking Hooded Black Samurai HMPK male displaying an unusually dark expression rarely seen within the Samurai strain.
Unlike heavily armoured Samurai Bettas, this male carries concentrated metallic scaling across the head and shoulder area, creating a distinctive hooded appearance that transitions sharply into a deep black body and matching black finnage.
The result is an exceptionally clean and dramatic contrast. From a distance the fish appears almost entirely black before the metallic armour around the face catches the light, revealing the signature Samurai pattern beneath.
His broad caudal spread, balanced HMPK form and near-black finnage combine to create a fish that embodies the darker side of the Samurai bloodline.
A standout specimen for collectors seeking a more restrained and sinister interpretation of the Samurai Betta.
